If you find you are in need of visiting an emergency room at a hospital, it could be one of the most frightening experiences you can have. This is especially true for small children. You will want to get the best care you can but you would also like for the staff there to be compassionate to you. Most patients going to an emergency room are in quite a bit of pain or have a serious injury and how they are treated by the staff goes a long way in their recovery. Dr. Eric Forsthoefel is an emergency room doctor at Tallahassee Medical Center in Florida. He has been working in this department for many years and has experienced all kinds of injuries. He treats each of his patients with respect and is quick to make a diagnosis. Patients who have received care from him have found him to be very patient with them and professional.
Dr. Eric Forsthoefel graduated from medical school and sought to build a private practice treating patients in his home area. He established an office and quickly built up his clientele. He was asked to join the team at Tallahassee Medical Center in their emergency room and he knew that this could only help him to further build his practice. He currently has an office off of the main campus of the hospital and still treats patients there, but, his main focus has become emergency medicine. He attends classes regularly in order to further his knowledge in this field and has received many awards for his work. Dr. Forsthoefel uses the latest technology both in the emergency room and at his private practice. His patients find that they receive the top care they can for whatever is wrong with them. The doctor would like to see the emergency room at the hospital upgrade their equipment to match the technological advances that have been made in medicine. The doctor also works in his community helping those less fortunate who are unable to get proper medical care. Dr. Eric Forsthoefel works with several organizations in this field.
Dr Saad Saad is a pediatric surgeon in New Jersey. In the 1980s, he had the opportunity of serving as a personal pediatric to the Saudi Royals. He operated from the King Faisal Specialists Hospital. This is a hospital that mainly serves the royal families in the Middle East. It’s however used in rare cases to treat poor people who have complex ailments. While he was serving in this hospital, he had the opportunity to treat hundreds of people from poor backgrounds and the royal families. Dr. Saad happiness mostly came from serving the poor people. He remembered where he had come from when he was young and felt that he had an obligation to assist people from humble grounds.
Dr. Saad was born in Palestine. His families later moved to Kuwait. Getting an education was a struggle but he was determined to make it in life. He attended the University of Cairo where he graduated with a medical degree. Saad went to England for his internship before settling in the United States where he started practicing as a pediatric doctor. He is certified by the medical board in the United States and is therefore fit to offer services. When the Saudi Royals were looking for a pediatric surgeon, they settled on Dr. Saad because he was a certified surgeon and he could also speak Arabic and English fluently.
When he got an opportunity to serve in Saudi Arabia, he first agreed to a one year contract, but he ended up serving almost five years as he had to give his young family time to settle in their new environment. Dr. Saad later left Riyadh, but he had made a mark in the healthcare industry in the country.
One of the accomplishments that he made while serving as in Saudi Arabia is creating a Surgical Residency Program in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons in England. In the agreement, medical students in Saudi Arabia would not need to go abroad so that they could get surgical education, because it was now available in the country. Many students took up medicine courses because the necessary education was available. The students would also get accreditation from the same college after completing their studies.
Dr. Saad Saad was also behind innovations which were meant to make the industry safer. As a surgeon, one of his main concerns was to ensure that the industry had safe methods of treating the patients. Reducing pain and risks in surgery became one of his concerns as a surgeon. To prove his innovative skills, he patented two innovations. One was an endoscope that had s suction system to allow doctors to see clearly the area they were working on. The other was a device that would detect catheter without necessarily going through a scanning machine. Learn more: https://www.linkedin.com/in/saad-saad-524707159/

Every once in a great while our lives cross paths with those who have walked this journey on earth as shining examples of how one should live this life well. One such a person is Dr. Saad. Dr. Saad now 72 years young has recently retired after a prestigious career of 34 years. Dr. Saad was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, in fact quite the opposite. Born in Palestine in the decade of the 40s life was certainly not void of difficult days. However as a son of a successful father who was a pioneer in the oil industry in the 1950’s the family relocated to Kuwait, it was there under the burning sun that Dr. Sad realized his life’s ambition.
Living By Example
Dr. Saad believes that all mankind can aspire to be anything they desire in this world. After all, if a poor man such as a Palestinian refugee can achieve becoming a successful pediatrician in America than anyone can with the drive and desire to put the work in to accomplish it. Dr. Saad lives his life under two basic principles that we all should model our lives after. First, never settle for anything less than the goals you have set for success. Dr. Saad overcame not only his life condition but rose above it to attain the status in life he desired to achieve. And to reiterate, if a man born into such an overwhelming disadvantage can find the path to rise above it, anyone can. Dr. Sad second life lesson is to never procrastinate, or put off the work that can be done today until tomorrow. The art of procrastination is a poor work ethic and flies in the face of how we should make the most out of each day that we are given. Time is a precious commodity and one that we need to be as efficient with as possible, this is what Dr. Saad believes is key to becoming successful.
